Headless Tom
Headless Tom was not always headless. Tom in fact was born with a head. Tom was born on a late July evening, weighing in at 8 lbs 4 oz. Decent size baby with decent size head. As Tom approached his first birthday, his mother took him in for his for annual check up. The doctor told her that everything was looking good and he was healthy. Except for one thing, Maam: said the doctor, It appears, Toms head is shrinking. Toms mother only to be confused as ever as the doctor continues, Toms head should be 18 inches around at this age, but he is at 12 inches instead. With her jaw dropping as she held Tom tightly to her body, Has this been done before doctor? Ill have to do some research, but well need to run some tests he replies while finishing writing down some notes. The research carried out, the tests ran, but there was no solid answer for Tom and Toms family. As Tom grew older, his head continued to shrink. By the time Tom was 3 years of age, his head was smaller then your hand. Tiny little ears, mouth, nose etc. Toms voice was so hard to hear, he began to sign. For a boy at 3 years old, he was a brave one. Toms 4th birthday party, he received a wooden pony for his room. As he sat on the pony, his head completely disappeared.
Tom will forever be headless.
